The idea for Momentum comes from my younger brother’s struggle. Despite being smart and kind, he spiraled after high school, stuck in low-wage jobs, socially withdrawn, and battling depression and bad habits. My family tried everything, but nothing seemed to stick.

What he needed wasn’t more advice. It was structure, accountability, and a group of peers to grow with. Over time, he found his way, but it was a slow, painful, and lonely process. His story isn’t rare.

I started Momentum to build the program he, and so many others, never had. We’re here to help young men rebuild not just their habits, but their belief in who they can become.

We set the stage for your transformation by building strong foundations around mindset, mental and physical health, planning and accountability, and intergroup relationships. You'll:

  • Learn how to set goals and track progress against them
  • Establish healthy fitness, diet, and sleep habits
  • Accept ownership of responsibility and adopt a growth mindset
  • Build trust, accountability, and encouragement within your peer group

Learn Accountability and Skills

The second phase deepens commitment to personal growth by expanding habits, increasing expectations and accountability, and developing practical skills and career orientation. You'll:

  • Build on fitness, diet, and sleep habits while incorporating mindfulness & CBT practices
  • Explore career paths through informational interviews and career discovery exercises
  • Begin developing technical and professional skills (with emphasis on integrating AI-tools) tailored to your interests
  • Continue with mindset and values education, focusing on developing grit and resilience

Real-World Application

The third phase transitions from learning to applying habits and skills in higher-stakes scenarios, with a strong focus on career readiness. You'll:

Unlike other groups, Momentum is: in-person, high-frequency, and long-duration (not just an occasional meet-up), led by accomplished, well-paid mentors (not just peers offering advice), backed by behavioral science and career development principles (not just vague self-improvement ideas), and focused on real-world growth in health, career, and relationships (not just emotional support or generic “men’s coaching”). Beyond structure, every mentee’s experience is personalized—mentors work one-on-one to tailor goals, adjust the curriculum, and ensure each young man is challenged in ways that fit his unique strengths and struggles.

Are Momentum programs offered online or in person?

Momentum is primarily in-person, with things like group coaching, workouts, and skill-building sessions happening in real-world settings. However, we also use online tools for tracking progress and staying connected between sessions. The in-person component is critical because it builds accountability, trust, and real social skills—things that simply don’t happen in an online-only format.

Is Momentum therapy?

No, Momentum is not therapy, but it does integrate proven therapeutic practices—like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles—that help mentees reshape negative thought patterns and take control of their actions. While traditional therapy often focuses on analyzing the past, Momentum is about moving forward, building habits, and developing real-world skills. Our coaches don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions, but they do help members cultivate healthy mindsets, emotional resilience, and personal responsibility—all of which are essential for breaking out of stagnation and creating lasting change. That said, for members who do need therapy, Momentum can complement it by reinforcing action-oriented growth.

How involved in the program am I as a parent?

Parents play an important but supportive role in the Momentum process. While the day-to-day work is done by the member and their coach, we believe parents should be equipped to reinforce progress at home. That’s why we provide parent check-ins and guidance on how to best support their son’s journey—without enabling old patterns or creating new friction.

Who are the Momentum mentors?

Momentum coaches are high-achieving professionals with proven career success and strong personal values. Unlike other programs that hire underpaid, inexperienced coaches, ours are carefully selected for both expertise and character. Each coach undergoes rigorous training to teach the Momentum curriculum while also bringing their own life experience and wisdom to the mentorship process. Their role is not just to instruct, but to challenge, support, and inspire members to take full ownership of their lives.
